Bumped from the Diaries. BruinFan1 brings up a really good question. Personally, I think he should get yanked if his head is not in the game, but a part of me remembers the really big games he had in the tournament last year. It seemed when Afflalo dissapeared, Shipp helped fill some of that void. On balance though I think if it keeps him motivated, Howland should keep him on a short leash (as he did yesterday). What do y’all think?
It is no secret that Josh Shipp hasn’t been the Josh Shipp that we all know and love on the court as of late. My question is this - if Shipp continues to not play well, what is Howland supposed to do with him during the tournament?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but it sounded like Shipp played much better today (I only caught the second half as I was traveling back from Laughlin). I saw clips of him driving to the basket which is great but I also saw him get the ball stripped from him because he wasn’t focusing. Should Howland pull him if he isn’t scoring and lacks focus? Is his defense and knowledge of the game so valuable that you cannot start any other player in his spot?
I have my own opinion on the matter but I want to see what the Gutty Little Bruins think first. Oh, and before I forget….U-C-L-A FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!!! On to the Sweet 16!!!!!!

My caveat - I love them all. I always will. BUT Shipp has some real issues that Keefe is filling in nicely. So what do we do. Do we have Keefe jump in with all his faults or have Shipp continue with all his mistakes but vast knowledge of the game?
Lots of questions but all I know is this…we love our Bruins!!!! We may not make it to the National Championship but that doesn’t matter. We love our team and we wouldn’t trade our team for the world. We love you guys! Scrap on and you have our support!!!!!!!!!
