Football Recruiting Roundup J’Mison Morgan: UCLA is “a better fit for me”
May 06

Hoopsworld recently did a Draft bio on Kevin Love, so I thought I’d share it with y’all:

Love was not hesitant to establish a dominant role in his freshman year on a team that had been to the Final Four the two previous seasons. The massive power forward used excellent positioning and Kevin McHale-type post moves to keep his defenders off balance. He demonstrates excellent footwork and an efficiency that makes up for a lack of vertical athleticism. Love’s pump fake mirrors his actual shot which induces defenders out of their stances, allowing for dribble drives or drawing contact. And Love can continue moves through all sorts of contact to complete the “and-1.”

Love hasn’t started his workouts, but as of right now he’s still slotted to go somewhere between the 8th and the 14th pick. Most sources have him slated as a lottery pick and I bet the Trailblazers wouldn’t mind having him back in his home state at #8.  Greg Oden, Brandon Roy, AND Kevin Love? Unless Love’s workouts suck, my pick is for Love to go to the Trailblazers at #8.
